La barca un 48 piedi del 2016 ci ha portato in una settimana a toccare: golfo di Baratti, Elba (sud e ovest) Corsica (nord e ovest) Capraia e in fino al rientro alla Base a Cecina.
L'acqua è stata sufficente per 9 persone con doccette quotidiane calde e lavaggio piatti senza alcun problema e senza rifornimenti. Abbiamo speso circa 100 euro di carburante perchè c'era vento, ma anche con relativamente poco motore, il frigo e le batterie hanno perfettamente tenuto. Siamo entrati in porto solo a Capraia per fare carburante. Barca comoda e funzionale ha tenuto bene il mare e fino a 2 m di onda al traverso si governava bene. Il pilota automatico è stato utile e capace anche a vela con onda al traverso e giardinetto. Le manovre correnti un poco secche (suggeriamo all'armatore di lavarle), il sup che avevamo preso a noleggio era vecchiotto ma funzionale e anche il tender era un poco usato con qualche gomma appiccicosa su un lato (sono solo descrizioni di dettagli allo scopo di aiutare l'armatore a revisionare gli oggetti). I bagni erano funzionanti, solo le pompe un poco dure andrebbero lubrificate (avevamo 4 bambini in barca che facevano un po' fatica a pompare).
L'armatore è stato gentile e disponibile, il check in è stato rapido ma completo. Durante la nostra settimana abbiamo rotto la pala del remo del tender (che era effettivamente usato) ma l'armatore, uomo di mare, non ci ha chiesto nulla. Il check out è stato molto veloce, l'armatore si è fidato principalmente del nostro report.
Per quanto riguarda il porto, anche offrendo il beneficio della ormai lunghissima ristrutturazione ancora in atto, non è particolarmente accogliente. I bagni sono prefabbricati e un poco sgarruppati (puliti la mattina), le docce (maschi) erano tutte intasate anche se all'inizio della stagione estiva.
