As always, the boat was very clean, and although we arrived three hours late because of traffic, we were welcomed warmly. The boat (Adria) was technically flawless and gave us no problems. All in all, a successful holiday with many great experiences. We had no complaints.

The handover was trouble-free. The briefing by a very friendly member of staff was, once he realised we had some experience (35 years with our own boats), pleasingly brief. The boat was clean. The equipment was a bit sparse: two lines are simply not enough, 5 m and 8 m long respectively. He gave us two extra lines as well, and then it was fine. A chart plotter would be an advantage; for someone visiting this area for the first time, it is more useful than the built-in fishfinder, which only shows depth up to about 17 knots anyway. The laminated charts on board were a bit basic, but that did not bother us — we have known this stretch of coast for 30 years. We had a really great week with it; the boat and engine are superb, and the combination works perfectly. The excellent overall impression was only slightly spoiled by loose screws on the bimini and a throttle lever set too lightly, which kept cutting the gas, hence the "almost" in the feedback title. The return went smoothly, and the deposit was refunded without issue after the boat was inspected.

Nice charter base. Hazards, including those marked on the chart, were explained. Up-to-date charts. Since the Dufour was damaged, we were given a replacement boat, a Sun Odyssey. Flexible handling. Just as I am used to from Real-Sailing in Burgteheide, it was the same with this Swedish charter.

We picked up the boat at Marina di Fezzano, a very nice marina with convenient parking and spotless facilities. The boat was in good order, clean, and working perfectly. The area is beautiful, and with just a few hours of sailing you can reach wonderful places such as Portofino, the Cinque Terre, Sestri Levante, and countless coves for swimming. The staff were friendly and competent.
