Definitely the best vacation ever: exceptional places, welcoming ports, few people in June, and a boat so spacious it felt like an apartment. We left France with a little nostalgia for the wonderful memories. One recommendation: a bow thruster is always useful; without one, in small ports with boats of a certain size, you can get into difficulty.

I have been sailing the Ionian Islands every summer for at least 15 years: the magic endures over time, made of colors, scents, and silence. The boats are almost all sailboats, and hospitality in the taverns and anchorages is cordial. Even in fresh wind there is never a swell if you sail inside the chain of islands that runs from Lefkada south to Ithaca and Cephalonia. A sailing vacation in complete peace of mind. Excellent experience regarding the charter, the boat, and the assistance. Charter: courtesy, competence, and organization characterize all the staff. Assistance is continuous, from the initial arrival through check-out, and the organization is impeccable. It is clear that company policy is focused on efficiency and courtesy toward the customer. The organization is top-notch, even in aspects that are not common elsewhere and that may leave you curious or even puzzled: for example, the day before disembarkation there is a hull, rudder, and keel inspection by a diver, which serves both as boat maintenance and as a check for any damage (complete with video documentation). In any case, the staff's approach is never unfavorable, and there is no attempt to charge the customer for expenses not caused by them. The same care goes into preparing the boat, cleaning (impeccable), and assistance during the cruise. Boat: the one we took (2016 Dufour 382) was in excellent general condition and in terms of onboard equipment. In particular, the boat is a little gem, with its two electric toilets, jet thrust that makes mooring much easier, and spacious galley. Only downside: we were unlucky enough to experience a problem with the service battery (an annoyance that can happen, bothersome for its effect on the vacation, but which does not seem due to neglect or poor maintenance, simply to statistical bad luck). Assistance: the battery problem was reported to the charter's technical assistance, and after a few phone checks they promptly helped us with the repair, with an intervention during the cruise (asking us to moor in a mainland port so they could reach us easily) and also on the last night at the base. Here too, efficiency and courtesy were exemplary.
