I had clearly asked for the WIND instrument and it wasn't there — it was broken. The autopilot was broken too, and sailing with only children on board was a problem.

An old, worn vessel — even if still seaworthy — should not be part of a reliable agency's fleet. Even a dated boat can be well refitted; this one was worn out ..... I'm very sorry, but we had to endure a week on a boat that no longer meets the requirements to be chartered.... Show more

First of all, the boat was described as having an electric winch on the battened mainsail and it didn't. Then the water and diesel level indicators were broken. First day at the dock due to bad weather — and luckily, because what was supposed to be a water top-up on Monday... Show more

It was the sixth time I'd rented a boat in Punat, always with other charter companies and always fine, including through Marenauta. The boat, a Sun Odyssey 45, was a disaster; the owner's staff, including the manager, were incompetent and rude. I won't go back.
