The Abruzzo territory covers over 10,000 square kilometers and has an almost semicircle shape with a 150 kilometers long diameter. The borders of this region are first of all the coast,129 kilometers long: from the river Tronto to the river Trigno in the east part; Marche, Molise and Lazio regions at north, south and west respectively.
