Yacht charter Sporades

The Sporades are a group of 16 islands and islets, of which however only Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros islands are inhabited. These islands, and especially Skiathos and Skopelos, are completely different from the arid Cycladic islands. The vegetation found here is absolutely wonderful. In fact, in the Sporades, the long sandy beaches as well as the small bays, are all surrounded by vast expanses of pine and olive trees which, reflected in the sea, give the water a beautiful green hue. Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros are large inhabited islands, while the others are semi-deserted, and belong to the Natural Park of Alonissos, one of the few places where the Mediterranean monk seal still lives. Skiathos, the most western island, is served by an airport which is often congested. But en route to the East, is not difficult to find more and more quiet and genuine atmosphere. The real Greece, where you breathe the rhythm of the sleepy little villages, and the marinas are not full of charter boats but full of the fleet of local fishing boats. Many small islands are deserted, and visitor should make sure to have full supplies on board.
