E' stata una vacanza breve (1 settimana) ma intensa.
Il percorso/navigazione da Lavrio a Milos andata e ritorno favorito da un Meltemi "abbastanza" mite (22/29 luglio) .
Ottima l'accoglienza e la presa di contatto con la società di charter.
La consegna della barca in early check è stata puntuale.
Il catamarano Bali 4.1 era in buono stato di manutenzione ed efficienza (un piccolo problema all'elica di destra è stato costantemente monitorato e risolto).
Il briefing di consegna dell'imbarcazione, conoscendo a fondo il Bali già utilizzata negli anni precedenti, è stato relativamente breve.
Il personale in banchina è stato molto cordiale e professionale anche nell'indicare i percorsi più favorevoli per le condizioni meteo-marine del luogo.
Il rientro a Lavrio Marina (dotata di ottimi negozi, bar e ristoranti) è avvenuto senza il minimo problema così come la riconsegna dell'imbarcazione.

Wir hatten perfekte Windverhältnisse bei nicht mehr überfüllten Häfen und gewohnter griechischer Gastfreundschaft. Der Vercharterer und Schiff waren mir nicht mehr neu, perfekter Ablauf und Service vom CheckIn bis zum CheckOut. Ich hoffe auch im nächsten Jahr wieder mit einer Yacht von SeaStar Sailing unterwegs sein zu können.
Gut ausgestattetes Schiff, welches zu spät übergeben wurde, weil der Anker getauscht wurde. Das Schiff wurde deshalb auch nicht gründlich gereinigt. Zudem gab es während des Turn Probleme mit dem neuen Anker, da die Sicherung nicht richtig für den Anker ausgelegt wurde.

The client mistreated his brand new windlass trying to pull his anchor from the sea bottom and blew a fuse.
Please find the official communication in text messages between him and our technical team, attached in pdf format.
We tried to be polite to him and we did not point to his mistreating the equipment, because we did not want him to feel bad.
Anybody who knows the basic functioning of a windlass will understand.
We disclose this information as a response to his inaccurate report.
He complained about the cleanliness of the fridge during check-in, which was immediately taken care of. We asked him if there was anything else and he expressed his satisfaction with everything else.
Additionally, the client tore the bimini, but we did not charge him, since the repair cost was only 100 Euro.
We regret that he is treating us in the way he is treating us. It seems that you cannot always win, despite your efforts.

Ho recentemente trascorso 15 giorni in Grecia affittando una barca a vela dalla SeaStar Sailing tramite Marenauta, e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto dell'intera esperienza. Sia in fase di prenotazione che di check-in, la comunicazione è stata impeccabile: informazioni chiare, dettagliate e tempestive.
La barca era in ottime condizioni, perfettamente attrezzata per una crociera, e ha reso il viaggio con mia moglie davvero confortevole. Un ringraziamento particolare va al titolare e al personale della SeaStar Sailing, che ci hanno accolto calorosamente e fornito preziose indicazioni sulle mete da visitare.
Abbiamo trascorso 15 giorni in totale tranquillità, godendo di meravigliose navigazioni a vela. Speriamo di ripetere presto questa straordinaria esperienza e la consigliamo vivamente.

Fantastic sailing week in the Cyclades, June 2024
The vacation couldn't have started worse. The flight was delayed for 5 hours and then in the marina with no luggage. Sea Star Sailing Lavrion, especially in the person of the base manager Stefania, made the impossible possible. By Sunday all teething problems had been resolved and we were able to start a perfect week of sailing in the Cyclades. The ship was perfectly equipped and we were able to optimally master the challenging wind and wave conditions. Thanks to the charter company and its excellent team, again at any time.

The worst check in
Check in process was a disaster. Although I arrive at the boat at 13.00 and they promise to speed up check in process so I get the boat at 17.00, the base crew did not finished till 19.30. This was a bad start which created a lot of tension and nervosity to me and the crew.

Dear partner,
The client started the check in at 18:00, exactly according to the charter contract that we have signed.
We understand that he might be very disappointed but we were not only disappointed but devastated.
He managed to entangle his propeller to the anchor chain of a moored boat and not only….
The yacht came back as a disaster with many damages. We indicatively state the following:
1. Damaged Bow thruster
2. Two broken hatches
3. Torn bimini
4. Marks from hitting on the bow, at the keel and on the propeller of the yacht
5. Damaged propeller cutter
6. Two bended stanchions
7. Destroyed speed indicator sensor.
